GreenTonne charges no monthly or annual fees. As a result, you can create your account and access the marketplace completely free of charge, whether you buy or sell.
Carbon Credit Pricing: No Withdrawal Fees
When you sell credits and want to withdraw your earnings, we charge no withdrawal fees. In other words, the full amount you earn from sales is yours to keep and transfer at any time.

Getting started on GreenTonne is completely free. Specifically, we charge no onboarding fees, no integration costs, and nothing to create your account or list your first credits.
How Carbon Credit Pricing Works
Example: If a credit is listed at €10.00 per tonne, the buyer pays €10.25 (€10.00 + 2.5% fee). The seller receives the full €10.00.
The 2.5% transaction fee is the only cost on the platform. We apply it to the buyer at checkout and clearly display it before payment. As a result, sellers always receive the full listed price of their credits with no deductions.

Why is there a buyer fee?
The 2.5% buyer fee covers the cost of operating the marketplace, including payment processing and platform maintenance. Therefore, by placing the fee on the buyer side, sellers receive the full value of their listed credits.
Are there any hidden charges?
No. The 2.5% transaction fee at checkout is the only fee on the platform. In addition, we charge no subscription fees, no listing fees, no withdrawal fees, and no setup costs. Furthermore, we always display the total amount including the fee before you confirm your purchase.
What payment methods do you accept?
GreenTonne accepts major credit and debit cards, as well as bank transfers for larger purchases. Moreover, our payment provider processes all payments securely. The 2.5% fee applies regardless of the payment method you choose.
Do you charge for retirement?
No. Retiring carbon credits on GreenTonne is completely free. Once you purchase credits, you can retire them at no additional cost. Consequently, you receive a retirement certificate with registry serial numbers, a public verification link, and a QR code at no extra charge.
